STRUGGLING !

Clinical attachment that I enjoyed least - Obstetrics and gynaecology.
For most people,this is the attachment that they enjoyed very much.Obs and gynae is associated with happiness; having babies is very joyful,only once in a while you encounter with problems such as stillbirth, premature sick babies or babies with congenital anomalies.That's the obstetrics part.The gynaecology part, however, is associated with malignancy,prolapse and all those ladies' illnesses.In Islam,learning and working in obs and gynae is a fardhu kifayah because we are lacking of female doctors in this specific discipline.I had already tried my best to  love and like obs and gynae. but to no avail.


So now I am struggling real hard to enjoy and survive in this attachment.This week is theatre week,so far I had seen total abdominal hysterectomy,bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy, hysteroscopy and D&C.Tomorrow I'm going for colposcopy.


I realized that since starting this attachment, I prayed so many times that Allah would give me strength, spirit and courage to endure the days...unlike other attachments where I only sailed them through bravely and strongly.
Speaking of pregancy and delivery,Allah has clearly mentioned in the Quran,surah as-Sajadah,verses 5-10:
(5) That is He, the All¬Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All¬Mighty, the Most Merciful. 
(6) Who made everything He has created good, and He began the creation of man from clay. 
(7) Then He made his offspring from semen of dispised water (male and female sexual discharge). 
(8) Then He fashioned him in due proportion, and breathed into him the soul (created by Allâh for that person), and He gave you hearing (ears), sight (eyes) and hearts. Little is the thanks you give! 
(9)And they say: "When we are (dead and become) lost in the earth, shall we indeed be created anew?" Nay, but they deny the Meeting with their Lord! 
(10) Say: "The angel of death, who is set over you, will take your souls, Then you shall be brought to your Lord."
