Dignity

Last Wednesday, when we were in the clinic, two nurses suddenly rushed into our room and asked for a pair of gloves. We thought that they might want to clean some fluids but apparently there was a baby born in the public toilet! There two nurses were actually having their breastfeeding awareness campaign booth when the were called to attend the baby.

The baby appeared small (later noted to weigh 700g only), rushed to emergency department for resuscitation. He survived with intubation and sent to NICU. The baby's mother was a young, single mother, who initially came to the hospital for abdominal pain. Perhaps she didn't know that it was contraction pain. Luckily she didn't deliver in the examination room!

How sad to see these young women, who are single and not ready for family, easily got pregnant and then abandon their babies. These are all the tests from Allah. Perhaps also a punishment for their wrong doings.

Take care of your prayer very well. Then, you'll gain strength to avoid the sinful manners. Do not simply let go your dignity to a man who doesn't even want to marry you.

Come on women, take care of yourselves well!
