A Break
Since early this month, the number of patients coming to our clinic had been increasing. Hundreds of patients per doctor almost everyday. Plus, one or two doctors took leave each day. 4116 means 116 patients for room 4. Me, being alone in that room, had a marathon of patients that "lovely Tuesday". When Monday was a public holiday, Tuesday is a disaster day. All sorts of patients came flooding the clinic like nowhere else to go. Despite the limited number of parking space and the long waiting times for consultation, they still come. And come again.
The same disaster repeated itself on Friday the same week! Usually I'll only have about 30-40 patients for morning session on Friday, but that particular Friday, I had 61 patients! With only 4 working MOs, we all suffered. Unsure of how things were managed, too many doctors took leave on the same day. Please, do not let it happen again, boss!
The following Monday, disaster again. Someone took emergency leave just because that person was denied a leave. Hundred over patients again, and again, I was in room 4. Perhaps room 4 doesn't suit me well? Being tortured like this again and again, I finally broke down. And that one day off was more than enough for me to rejuvenate. Alhamdulillah, thank you Allah for make it an ease.
Sometimes, what I need is just a short break, away from all these catastrophe.
