Ridiculous Discharges

We had three ridiculous AOR discharges today.

1st patient came in at 4 am, admitted for tonsillitis witn poor oral intake. Requested for discharge at 10 am. Reason : here we do not allow more than one person to take care of patient at a time.
This family, they wanted three of them to be able to care for a boy with fever. And they wanted to go to private hospital.

2nd patient came in at 2.30 am, same day, presented with fever, cough and runny nose of one day duration. Admitted for IV antibiotics...pharyngitis. Requested for discharge at 2 pm. Reason : child was phobic after branula setting and refused to lie in bed. Easier for them to take care of child at home , than in the hospital.

3rd patient came in yesterday 3pm, presented with diarrhoea two weeks. It turned out to be toddler's diarrhoea. Requested for discharge at 3 pm today, as they think child is okay, no active intervention in hospital. They wanted to go home.

Dude, if you are not keen for admission, please say so to the ED doctors.
If you wanna go private, please do so, don't you know that their ED is also open 24 hours?
Do not simply come here and do as you wish. We are humans too. We do have feelings. Admission is not just a blink of eyes, there are so many paper works need to be done. Time consuming. And do not expect that we'll discharge you like a lightning once you're allowed AOR discharge. Please be patient and wait for your turn.

It is so ridiculous how these parents decided to jeopardize their child's lives by bring them at these odd hours. This condition  can wait till the sunrise. Do you know that accidents and crime rates are high at these time? Please parents, think more.
Of course there emergencies that need urgent visit to hospital regardless of hour, and you know it very well.
