Alhamdulillah, it has been 5 years since I started blogging. I prefer to call it "online journal" anyway. I build strength through writing, find ideas through writing and share my personal thoughts through writing also.
I have always love to write, only that sometimes I was too occupied with life matters that I avoid writing unnecessary materials. Since kindergarten, I wrote a lot. I enjoyed my language classes in school, especially Bahasa Melayu. I started writing my own version of novel in primary school, and let my closest friends to read and comment. I was chosen by my class teacher to prepare a "folio" on a short story, which was then sent for competition. I always obtained an A for my Bahasa Melayu essay paper.
When I entered secondary school, I started to worry about my English language. So I attended an English tuition for a year. My first essay assignment was selected as the best, and Mr Felix typed it out and distributed to the class.
Soon after Matriculation college, I was offered to further studies abroad. I still remember sitting in the student hall not being able to laugh at the joke (because me and my friends couldn't comprehend it). That was not a big problem though. Later we all spoke in their accent proudly :)
During my first year, I became the editor for a booklet for our daurah. It was an amateur production but I was glad I did it. A year before my graduation, I became one of the writers for Ataphijau.com, an online medium for dakwah, managed by a group of students under our Malaysian society. I stopped contributing to it once I returned to Malaysia for good. It went on for another year, then no more. Not really sure what actually happened.
This online journal was started in July 2009, after a big test I had that year. I found that writing helps to calm me down, and inspired me. Alhamdulillah.
